I also have problems with migraines. I don't know if it's endo-related, or due to a car accident I was in 5 and a half years ago, or my fibromyalgia, but I get migraines a couple times a week. Luckily, I don't vomit like my brother does (just get nauseau, extreme light/sound sensitivity, the awful pain, and auras).
Ouchy - Raw onions also set them off for me! So do bell peppers.

That explains why I feel so crappy today....migrane hangover. This is all just new to me and the pains, migraines just all started this year.
I could not even imagine having all this happen as a teen!!!

I've had horrible cramps, clotting, etc. since my very first period (age 9, about 10), but the migraines didn't start until I was around 17.

I went on an allergy diet as a teenager, coz i would get tension headaches, not exactly a migraine. But i get migraines now, seeming to correlate to that time of month.
But i would guess allergies are the trigger.
The allergy foods are in groups, so it can be easy to tell what caused it, and i usually know if ive done something wrong, or i suspect what caused it.
Bell peppers and onions, would likely fall into the same group.
My worst was lactose, tannins in tea, and tomatoes, but curiosly i can handle tomatoes if i have no lactose.

Hey Trish. Ya it sucked when I was a teenager. My family doctor didn't believe me. She thought I was making it all up to stay home from school! Needless to say but she is no longer my doctor. I found a new Doctor who pulled out all the stops trying to make me feel better. I am quite grateful that I found my doctor. She can be hard to get into but when you do she is awesome! Rin

I finally had another migrane!! I took everything I had and nothing touched it!! I took Vicodon, Ultram and a Xanax all in 4 hrs and nothing.
I went to the Dr he gave me a shot in my hip and I was out cold till the next day. It has got to be something related to endo. My Dr called it a hormonal migrane.

Yah, but just because you have endo and hormonal migraines doesn't mean that it is the endo causing it. There have been cases of endo in the brain, but lots of women w/out endo get hormonal migraines as well. I'm sure the ovaries produce wayyyyy more hormones than what little the endo produces on its own. I've known a number of women w/out endo who get cyclic migraines.

I have gotten migraines since I was 10 (when my period first started). I've been on various migraine meds, and nothing works. Recently, my doc tried Relpax, and it did nothing. She is going to send me to a neurologist (now that I have health coverage, I can afford the drugs! Woohoo!)

This is gonna sound really crazy but please trust me that I am NOT lying! I was getting migraines on a daily basis for about a year. I had the MRI which showed nothing, and went on migraine meds (Zomig and one other one that I don't remember). The migraine meds actually made me sicker, so I had to stop taking them and suffer from the headaches. Then my mom took me to an appointment she had w/ her Rhumetoligist (I think I spelled that wrong...) and I had a massive headache. The receptionist asked what was wrong with me, and when my mom told her, she said "Tell her to take Zantac 75. It makes migraines go away." I didn't believe her, but was so desperate for a solution that we went out and bought 10 doses of Zantac at my local Brooks Pharmacy. Within 20 minutes of taking it, my migraine was gone! I didn't really believe that it was the Zantac, so for about a month I played w/ it. I'd stop taking it for a few days, get the migraines, and then take it again and they were gone again. So, in conclusion, lol...I have been taking one Zantac 75 a day for a year. I have gone from having a migraine every single day, to having one every couple of months when I forget to take the Zantac. I don't know what's in it that helps....but it's like a miracle drug for migraines. Hope that helps.

I get migraines just before and during the first few days of my period, this has been happening for the last 2 periods! I am looking into the fact that it may be caused by the chocolate I eat. I get a mad craving for all things cocoa as part of my PMT, and eat so so much that it may be the reason why. I feel like I NEED the chocolate though it's crazy! xx

Well its official, i get premenstrual migraines, last 3 months now, without fail.
Now to be fair this last one, was not a migraine, just a headache that came and went, was bad, but not migraine status, but this month had had no exposure to allergens, so definitely makes it worse but is not the cause.
So it seems its a combination for me, so i guess work still to be done, felt i had less PMS this time than normal though, have been on vitex nearly 2months, so could be working.
I find it funny how much these headaches aggravate me, its nothing really in comparison to other things, but it bugs me more than anything else.

I am the same way, other pains and woes can be much more intense, but it's the headaches that I can't handle. Very weird.

The neurologist confirmed I have migraines, and is trying me on this blood pressure drug that is supposed to prevent them. It hasn't worked yet, but can take up to a month to see any improvement.
My gynecologist also said I absolutely CANNOT take oral contraceptives (or any hormones orally) because that will make the migraines WORSE and actually can be dangerous. So I'm off the pill, now. We shall see if that helps.

I've migraines too since 12 grade. Only I've this problem in my family. Cigarette smoke, high sun-light, dust, crowed, tension, cold all give me migraines. I tought I am very weak in health. After my lap 6 months ago, it decreased a bit. I've no idea, why....
