Oh, and Ouchy... yesterday when we were at the World of Sea (lol) we stopped by the Dolphin nursery. I thought that'd you'd find it interesting that dolphin's nurse till 18 months!! I definitely think that 18-24 months is totally in the norm for a human baby, as well. Unless you look at other primates, which are more closely related to us than dolphins. They nurse for several years. I would have LOVED to have seen the baby dolphins. Awwwww

Aw lmk I agree with Tess, Cass is an inspiration! Ask her about farts I'm kidding but I know everyone has a funny fart story, right! I'm 23 too, and honestly it can be a pretty bleak outlook but absolutely concentrate on your here and now. Have your off moments but then just shake it off and go out and grab life I say. It's the only way to get by, by not just getting by. Something not going right? Do exceptionally well in everything else. Chances are, you can find something else to make you happy if the other thing doesn't work out. I'm a cat lady, Tess is a cat momma and Cass has a pet me. She often feeds me biscuits and teaches me tricks

I know right? But she said I make a good pet so I suppose I must humour her lol lmk it's the (can't remember the right word so I'll be a turd and say - ) initials for Taking Charge of Your Fertility, that book they are talking about It's very popular here Basically, before you even start writing yourself off, you must look at it. See if your local library has it even!

Well, I've got advanced stage 3 endo, swollen ovaries... my uterus is covered with endo.. to a point where my Dr was calling my adhesions "aliens." Last week I had an appointment where my dr felt my left ovary was nearly 3x the size of the right. Sure, he's put a expire date on my fertility, but he doesn't have a crystal ball. In fact, no dr does. Read "TCOYF"=Taking Charing of Your Fertility. I guarantee you will not only find it enlightening but also very reassuring. There are people worse off than you and I who have gone to conceive beautiful happy and healthy babies!! Besides, even if my fertility was in such danger right now, I couldn't bring a child into this world. It'd be utterly unfair and selfish on my part! I'd rather finish school, move into my home, get a great job and see what my life brings. Dwelling on issues will only make you life harder to live.

But yes, I've read (back when I was a Zoology major. LOL) that primates have been known to nurse up to 7-8 years.

Maybe I'm biased because I'm part minke whale (I know, my forehead gives it away) But I'd rather take my cue from the dolphins than the apes Apes freak me out

I heard a really interesting conversation between two apes going to see Tom Wolf speak at the Lincoln Centre, they said they were going to throw poo at him. Dolphins kiss you instead, so much more polite!
