He hasn't attempted cloth changes yet. He did, however, change a few meconium sposies! hehe! I need to teach him to use the "Snappi" cloth diaper fastener. He doesn't look anxious to learn

The cloth is awesome! Still no leaks, and everything is great! She did start to get a little diaper rash, but nothing some Desitin didn't clear up right away. Plus, I started putting a little fleece liner in each diaper to wick the moisture away from her little tushy! Now, while her diaper may be soaked, her little bottom stays nice and dry! She is so cute in her preemie cloth! I will have to post a pic!

Denna, the ones I bought for her are USD $9.90 per 12 diapers. They threw in an extra one for free with my first purchase (I think they messed up!). Here is the link. OOOOH. It was only the preemie ones that are $9.90 for 12. The regular infant ones USD $16.20 for 12 if you order 4 dozen at once. It's still cheap. www.clothdiaper.com/sitemap/unbleached-infant-4x8x4-prefold-cloth-diapers.htm If you get them, be sure to get a snappi! Soooo much easier than using pins. These are snappis www.clothdiaper.com/sitemap/snappi-cloth-diaper-fasteners-1--pack.htmOh. And a cloth diaper pail liner, get 2. Makes it sooo much easier. You just turn it inside out and pour the diapers and wipes into the washer. You never have to touch baby poop! Oh yah. And buy some cloth wipes. I'll give you some good links for the pail liners and wipes here soon. Baby crying now. got to go.

I LOVE them...now that they aren't repelling, of course! Oh yah. And these dont' need covers! They are lined with PUL. They fit babies 7 pounds + ! You can even buy extender tabs.

I think you could make a killing alone with baby blankets, and flannel baby wipes. Or cute little diaper covers, like they used to have in the past with the little ruffles on the tooshie. Oh so cute! I'd buy them from you. My future MIL makes BEAUTIFUL quilts, so I am sure she would make us a few, but I am all about the homemade stuff. If I could sew anything, I'd do it myself... hopefully I'll learn a little before the time comes. I can always sew by hand at work in the down time from about 3am till 6am.

Oh. Apparently, when you use dish liquid to strip pocket diapers, you have to turn them inside out and scrub the inside. Moral of the story: I now have to re-strip and strip the inside of 4 dozen diapers! Sheesh! Good thing is that my special detergent arrived today! So, hopefully, I won't have to strip diapers ever again! Synthetic fabrics suck!
