What can I say? I like my candy. Actually, the boyfriend loves those chocolate eggs covered in the hard sugar shell. So I was nice and got him like 6 bags to last him till next year.
Heh. I've jumped on the Tickerfactory wagon. Woohoo.

UGH!! I am SO glad I don't have to see anything like that around here!!! I don't even think guide dogs are allowed in the grocery stores - atleast I've never seen any, and there are always signs for 'no dogs' right with the 'no rollerblades' signs on the doors!
Someone should write a letter to Paris Hilton and tell her to give it up and pack it in! People like her are who make young women think a dog like that is a toy and can bring it anywhere! That totally makes me want to vommit!

Agh! I HATE seeing people bring "little dogs" into stores, grocery stores and restaurants! And no, a chihuaua is NOT a seeing eye dog, helping hand dog, or hearing ear dog. There are certain breeds of dogs that are trained as such because they are naturally better at being working dogs.
I would take a big can of Lysol with me to the grocery store, make a GIANT production of spraying the whole cart with it, then when I get to the check out, spray down the counter explaining that I don't want any "dog germs" on my groceries...LOL!
Luckily, around here, people don't get away with bringing little doggies into stores. Anywhere I've ever worked, I kicked people out who had dogs with them. Most working dogs in my city (since we have a high disability rate here, and LOTS of working dogs) have signs on them that say "working dog" or their specific job.
I would also contact any association that trains working dogs and let them know that people are passing off their froo-froo pets as working dogs in order to take them into stores. I'm sure they would be irrate, and have something to say to the health department and store!

Heh. My mom, sister, and I went to South Beach the other night for dinner. Besides the fact we saw a totally blitzed grown man in pink shorts doing cart-wheels, we saw this old lady with her three dogs - all of them dressed in doll dresses with hats in a stroller.
It was the greatest most entertaining dinner ever.

LOL!
There used to be this crazy woman who lived in the east end of the city. She used to put her little dog (I think it was a shihtzu or something) in a fancy pram, dressed in pretty dresses and bonnets. She would walk through the mall in the area with the dog, and people would be shocked when they would lean over to see the "baby" and there was a furry little dog all dressed up! LOL!

People are rocked. I understand pets can become a VERY close part of the family, but seriously...there is a line.
