Thanks girls!!! Yeah, I think I'll just take my temp like Jenaya said if I wake up early, then again at the normal time and take an average. I'm so dreading Monday....I'll be interested to see if my temps continue to drop over the next few days before my period starts or if it's just a sudden drop the day before.

Mine is a sudden drop on the day before. It's so awesome because once I see that drop I know my period is coming in the next 24 hours. I'm so hooked on this temping stuff!

So did you at least see your thermal shift to confirm ovulation?

I think so. I'm still trying to figure out how to read it. I think I have so many weird temps that my chart is just strange. I wonder if I'm better off just watching for the mucus changes? I'll do this for another few months and see. Stupid period started afew days early, spotting last night and today is the first day. ugh. question, if yesterday afternoon I noted "creamy lotion" type discharge but then in the evening I had spotting am I supposed to mark my fertility friend chart as spotting for yesterday or leave it at thick?

Can't you do both?
You need to watch for BOTH indicators! Keeping an eye on them together will make it much easier to spot ovulation. Is there a chance that you're not ovulating?

After Temping since around christmas and being totally boggled in the mind by temps with no apparent pattern, but with steady cycle length, last month I finally saw the shift for ovulation followed by high temps until period started, and now back down to 97.1 for the last 3 days during my period. i'm just stoked that my body is finally doing its thing. Also this month took the saliva test so it will confirm if I ovulated there on day 21. I'm happy about this since for the last 4 months I've been despairing of ever knowing how to read the charts! But now I feel a lot better about the whole thing and I'm super stoked to get the results of the saliva hormone test.. If anyone's curious about the test, I got it from my ND, and it's a saliva test you do every other morning for 22 days to test hormone levels in spit. I'm hoping it does show that I ovulated! I think this is the first time I have ovulated for real since my surgery in October! annnnnnd..... that means (if true) that I shouldn't be so bummed about not getting knocked up since I have faithfully been having sex with hubby during suspected fertile times... but if I didn't even ovulate the last 4 months I guess I can't be mad I'm not Pregnant! ahhh, I love being my own detective! it's AWESOME!
