that is interesting. I think I'm signign myself up for primary hormone imbalance , cause I can't find any pattern. I think I ovulated on day 10 this cycle, last cycle was day 15, cycle before was day 28 or so....drives me nuts. Interesting. Day 10-15 is totally normal but 28 is pretty long. Did you notice your temp bouncing around? That excerpt links unstable temps to stress which I thought was interesting and looked back at my charts - Sure enough - the most stressful times had bouncing temps. I wonder if atleast you can see if stress caused the late ov. or if something else caused it. Have you ever been checked for PCOS, rust? She mentions long fps with PCOS. With all the cycling you do, I would imagine you have plenty of blood circulation going to the abdomen!

I've seen references to long LP and PCOS as well. I think it's been discussed before, Rust, but I don't recall where things ended up?
My 'normal' FP temps used to be 96.8, but over the last year they hover around 97.3-97.4, though last week they were at 97.0-97.1. My LP temps used to be in the high 97s but have since tipped into 98.0.
Interesting that you can link stress to your temps, Jaye. My temps vary from very steady one month to very erratic the next. Sometimes I think they're more steady because of a new supplement or med, then the next month, they're all over the place again despite other factors staying the same. And I'm not under a ton of stress, much less every day. Can't figure it out!

I've often looked up PCOS, and it just doesn't seem to fit. I just seem to have very irregular cycles, and my temps are never steady--they bounce around a lot, day to day.
I have been under an incredible amount of stress, lately, so maybe that's behind the 10 day thing. But I don't know--I think something else underlying just makes my hormones all wacky.

Interesting, Karen. Thanks for sharing.
I don't know--this doesn't feel right either, in that although I was once underweight and eating too little, I'm not now--haven't been for several years. I eat a ton of food, and I'm small but not at all unhealthy, and I have a good bit of body fat.
I also have never had cysts like the PCOS cysts. I have endometrioma, but those are different, aren't they? I'm slowly realizing i probably need to figure out someway to address this. I keep thinking that I've only been off the pill just over 2 years...but that's over 2 years. And I'd been on it since I was 12/13...
thanks for the info.
