Ok. There is a phytoestrogen thread related to soy, but I want this to be a thread that ONLY relates soy to ovulation. There are a growing number of women using soy to induce ovulation. I have a friend who got pregnant on her first soy round after trying for 14 months to get pregnant (and several unsuccessful cycles of Clomid)--she calls her baby her "soy bean." Anyway, I'm not promoting soy, and obviously anyone intrested in trying it should ask a doctor/naturopath first. From what I've read, it is taken basically just like Clomid--on days 3-7 or 5-9. I've not been successful in inducing ovulation that early in my cycle with it (but I only took the lowest dose). However, I was able to easily induce ovulation when ovulation was already late. Since I don't know THAT much about it, I will post a link to a soy thread on a PCOS website. Soy seems to be a popular remedy for ovulation there, and I think it is the 3rd thread on the topic there, because the threads grew soooooooooo long! Oh. I got my soy at a health food store, but my friend who got preg. w/ it got hers at Wal-Mart.
