May--progesterone deficiency is the most common cause for early pregnancy failure, not estrogen. I'm not sure exactly HOW metformin works in relation to ovulation, as I decided not to take it, so I haven't researched it. I just know that a lot of doctors prescribe it to you even if you're not diabetic, to help w/ ovuation. Soy has nothing to do w/ metformin, they're not related, although apparently both can be used for ovulation induction--again, I'm not that familiar w/ how metformin works in regards to ovulation.
Baby bonnet-- If you had long cycles...not ovulating as often/early as you should, that's trouble ovulating--which can be caused by an incorrect LH/FSH ratio (lutenizing hormone/follicle stimulating hormone).

OUCHY-- where do you get that soy from, and how do you take it? i think i had an unavoltory cycle last month, eventhough my tests came up +'ve progesterone said otherwise, though i did get af the next day, so i don't know what happened, but i'd like to be sure i'd ovulate every month, cause i cannpt trust the tests obviously, if you still may not ovulate, so tell me more please.
i'd love to try it
hugs, michelle

Hey, michelle. I'll start a new thread on soy for ovulation. I'll post a link for you.
