I am on my second round of Lupron shots and I was wondering if anyone knew how long you would have to wait before you could try to conceive? I had gotten pregnant and 3 months after my son I did the shots for 6 months and it worked while I was on them and I am doing them for 3 months this time. I have one more shot at the end of Aug. and then we are trying for or last baby and I was just wondering if anyone knew so I didn't have to wait til I go back to the doctors to ask and since I haven't tried to conceive after I was on them I didn't know what I was in for. Thanks so much

Hi, Jenn. I'm not sure.
Would there be a way for you to call your doctor's office and ask, rather than having to go back in?

Yeah, I just hate calling. I am going to tomorrow. I just thought maybe someone on here might already know. I want to see if I can skip my last shot too ,so I have to talk to them. I have had bad side effects lately, more than last time I mean the pain is controlled pretty good but, I am having bad headaches and night sweats and can't sleep. My hsband and I just decided we are ready now and there is no need to wait anymore. Well thanks:)

I would assume you could try to conceive once you begin ovulating again, but you should really ask the doc. Sorry!

Well I never completely quit having them...I had normal periods for the first 2 or 3 months into it and then I spotted and I think it was about 2 months after my last shot that they were normal again. I actually thought I was pregnant. Hope that helps and thanks for the luck!
