I live basically in a retirement community - aka Fla. So, working at the airport and for jetblue I see a lottttt of wheelchairs going on and coming off planes. Well, the other day I took it too far...it was damn funny but just over the line.
Basically, one of the co-pilots couldn't get how many wheelys came off of his flight (16 to be exact). Then he was surprised by how many HRs (human remains) went on the plane. So I explained it to him like this....the old people buy a one way ticket. they come off the plane in wheelchairs and go back in in caskets.
yep. i myself have a one way ticket nonstop to hell. hahaha

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's hillarious! Obviously, you have a fun sense of humor and are probably a blast to work with. I'm sure no one took it seriously. It's not like you'd say that to one of the wheelie people!

Ok. I'm starting a "Warped Sense of Humor" thread so we can get this back to aging of the cervix!

Bwahaha.
To stay on topic - Auntie Flow finally arrived this morning. She brought a lot of luggage that seems to have found it's utter heaviness on my left ovary. I'm trying to remind myself just exactly why I came off the bcps and that this is for the best.

I have experienced a different flow, unpleasant in it's own way (hope things improve tess, would love some good good news from someone on here soon, in the form of a little bundle of joy!) I occassionally I get a flood of discharge, perfectly healthy far as I can tell (I once went through a bout of swinging between a yeast infection and BV which was horrific!) but in the distant past, this would mean a period was coming. Now I'm not sure if it's my OAP cervix poking me with it's walking stick so to speak, but it's happened a few times since finishing my hormone treatment and MY aunty flow hasn't turned up (though like you tess she has left a suitcase on my bladder, quite rude) no period, and not much happening besides the usual...

okay, sorry if I'm changing the subject somewhat, but after reading all this about birth control pills, I'm starting to wonder if I should just do a wait and see approach. I'm a new endo. patient, and I cannot for the life of me figure out if I should even dare get back on birth control when going back to the doc. tomorrow. I just had a lap about 2 weeks ago, and so far, no pain. But, with my endo. it comes on suddenly with no warning and will give me HORRIBLE, I WANT TO DIE pain for hours. I don't want to risk that happening again, but I don't want to make my body hate me with birth control either. What to do, what to do...

If I could go back, I wouldnt' go on bc. But everyone reacts differently. Honestly, it's up to you and your doc.
