Not sure if i am getting that heat flushes or coming down with some flu/bug, i do not have a temp however to touch i am very hot and i very warm but i have also been having sore throats. I have resisted the need to take any pain killers, i still have pain although i am able to handle it a bit better this week.

Not sure if i have said this but my last injection was only my 5th but it will be my last. i have decided that no more zoladex. I had 4 months pain free and i am extrmemly grateful for that. that was four months i didnt have before.

Well i am officially off the zoladex no more, i was supposed to have one more month but seeing how i ended up in e.d last week with excruiting pain i decided i dont want it anymore.
To all those considering this medicine, i found it great but unfortunately it only took the pain away for 4 months. i was very lucky in that perspective.

Aw, I'm sorry. Was the pain due to the zolodex or endo? Are you feeling better now?

Aw man I'm sorry to hear that you ended up in the ED. How are you feeling now? Are you alright?

No not really. i ended up being treated for a slight uti and given pain relief. In constant pain still. Went back to the doctor, and they dont know how it could be endo and without doing a lap (as im refusing to do a lap too soon) i just remain in constant pain. This afternoon has been bad but on the day of ed trip i was in tears and barely able to walk. Im okay though just in pain.
thanks for your concern Jenaya.

Hi all
Newbie here...
I have had the zoladex for the full 6months...where do I start...
Having the injection is ok could've done it myself...however ill be honest I had a very bad experience with it my body used to ache so bad my bones hurt like he'll I used to cry...I was depressed...the hot flushes are dreadful id break out in a dripping sweat in snow it was ridiculous...I never wanted sex n was very dry...became irritable n cranky...my memory is like I have dementia I can't remember anything let alone understand simple things my rain just want work like before...
Im sorry for scaring u everyone is an individual as it can work however zoladex pushes your body I to menopause and stops your ovaries from working but your being a woman your ovaries release hormones to help strengthen your bones so when they stop u will ache...
As im only 24 that could be the reason I experienced all this as your body needs this hormones
Do as much research as you can n always always always ask questions n be sure...u have our support. Here too
Wish u all the best hun
Nabz xxx

I'm sorry you had such an awful experience. Sadly, you're not the only one. As much as estrogen plays a part in fueling endo, it's still a very critical hormone that interacts with your body in waaaaay more places than your reproductive system - I've read there are more than 400 estrogen receptors in the body!! I hope you have recovered your pre-fake-menopausal self now!

Not quite sure where else to put this but ex zoladex ladies what were the symptoms or signs of your period/cycle returning.
Sorry if this is tmi but my areolas are very sore and a little, bumpy/maybe a little swollen? I once had something similar when i was younger i had this once before, except not as bad.
Has this happened to anyone else?
