Okay so today i really had an oh dear moment... After a morning of washing our cars and polishing them, i went to get my nails done and finally got to the docs office 5 mins before my appt to realise omfg i dont have my injection with me, it totally slipped my mind that i was to bring the injection woops. They were so lovely to allow me to go home get the script and medication and come back... I felt rather silly oh well.

Easily done... I forgot my actual appointment to have a jab !!
that's the least embarrasing of my extremely long list of forgottens, if only I could remember what is on the list. the family just get used to me asking the same things over and over.
Update for me is Last Zoladex was in October. I noticed the withdrawl within days of the next jab being due. This time headaches added to the list of by now normal but very unwelcome side effects. Theheadaches passed about a week later but the hot flushes etc carried on till about a week ago. They did trail off getting less intense and far less frequent.
Now I have started to bleed, not too much, never ever been this light before which is good. Possibly due to Mirena put in same time as I started Zoladex. That's the menstrual bleed i am talking about. But the pain and cramping were as bad as ever they were before elsewhere. Had to rush home for the super pain killers. Lasted 2 days, now I just have cramping aches coming in waves. Mild but uncomfy.
So exactly 8 weeks after the last zoladex the bleed returned, so that's 4 weeks after the Zoladex ran out of my system. Had hoped for a lot longer to be honest, and very annoyed about the return of the super cramp and pain, even blood in urine arghhhhh that is definitely the endo!!
I will not be going back on Zoladex if I can bare not too. side effects were just way too strong and I feel like I slumbered through the past 5 months. Still not got brain fully functioning, but it is much improved memory wise. I even went back to work 3 hours a day. It is exhausting but it's a start. I come home and straight to be for sleep. I am getting better quality sleep now the hot flushes pretty much gone. Perhaps my body is just catching up on the months of lost Zzzz . will see how I manage till after x-mas and then consider extending th hours of work if I can manage it.

Hi Girls, I haven't been on here for a while. I have ended up having zoladex for over a year, it will be 15 months in total by the time I come off it. I have two more injections left. It has been more or less a pain free year. Which is great. I wish I could stay on it. The side effects are there. I wake up two or three times a night, and my body seems to have lost all notion of hot and cold, one minute freezing cold, the next sweat beads all over. And I can relate to the 'fog' as well. however, life goes on and no bleeding and no pain has been fabulous. I had feedback therapy half way through when the side effects were just awful. A low dose estrogen pill every day. It really didn't agree with me. I had bleeding and pain straight away. That worried me as the doctor said the level of estrogen shouldn't effect me. It did, a lot, and I had to come off it again. I was really disappointed as after 6 months of zoladex I had no pain and the hormone screen showed my estrogen level was off the scale low. However, back onto zoladex on its own and everything calmed down again. I have started homeopathy ahead of coming off the zoladex. the doctor has told me the only thing he can do for me next is a hysterectomy. No more zoladex allowed. I have made a commitment in my own mind to the homeopathy and to the diet. Here's hoping.
Good luck girls, thinking of you,

Just a quick one on Zoladex - earlier in the thread I talk about how I was put on Zoladex and then had a very bad losing massive clots issue (in work, in the car) which was embarrassing and messy. I had one injection and packed it in.
When I had my surgery last week, my doctor spoke to me about my decision and I explained that I had no info about the Zoladex and the blood loss was not something I could cope with as I didn't know how long it would happen for (we're talking standing in the bath losing chicken fillet sized clots, it looked like Psycho in there!).
She said she wished they'd sent me to her (!) as she could have given me all the info about the injection and that the extreme blood loss may happen and prepare me for it. It's such a shame as my pain went in a few days after the injection.
Just to remind us all to get all the info, as I didn't!!

Onto 5th injection, had pain previous two weeks, last week had been almost unbearable to the point of tears running down my face. I had another ultrasound at my Gynae's office (How can an ultrasound possible cost that much LOL) anyways no cysts, something looked suspicious but after emptying my bladder it went away. today is second day post ingection and the pain today is there but only slightly niggling. the more women i talk to that have had endo tell me their pain really backed off after having a baby. I went to a gp who did reinforce that point...Dont know what to do, i am hoping my pain backs off again shortly...

Danniv, I hope you feel better soon--I'm sorry that the injections aren't helping as much now. What did your gyn say? The link between pregnancy and reduction in endo pain isn't 100%--like many things, it does seem to help some women and doesn't help others.
Gem, I'm so glad you've found this one woman. I hope you can stick with her.

He said that with the injections i shouldnt be in pain but seeing as i basically had tears running down my face he suggested two things:
1.) stop the zoladex and have another lap 2.) try another month if im still in pain then go for the lap.
I really dont want to do the lap. what difference will it make honestly, last time i was pain free for 2 weeks at least with this injection i had been pain free for four months, for at least i got that time pain free. For now the pain continues and i have strong pain killers.

I'm sorry, Danniv, this really sucks for you. Would the lap be with the same doc? Is there anyone else you can have a consult with? I hope this month is better.
