First of all I apologize if this is covered elsewhere, I really did search to check but couldn't find anything.
I've recently had some really uncomfortable pains/feelings around where I can only describe as my pelvic floor muscles. It feels like they are being constantly engaged and kind of pulled into a constantly tense position.
It's constant almost, for the last week or so since my period.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I've noticed it before but not for such a prolonged time.

Hey, scarlett. I think this is the first thread on it. We have a thread on Kegals, but this is the first talking about pain.
Hope you feel better!

I've actually seen a PT for this.. she thinks it is realted to the endo. The only things that seemed to help me was electric pulse stimulation done by the PT , stretching , hot baths and heating pads. Feel better!

Thanks Ouchy!
Really Marshmallow? You've had the same sort of thing then? Sorry, but what is a PT - is it like a Physiotherapist?
I'm thinking it's my endo on my uterus or thereabout, sticking itse;f even more firmly to another bit of my anatomy, maybe my bowel or something (it's already firmly stuck there anyway).

hi, I have been bugging my obgyn about ...what sounds like the same place. I couldnt find a better name for the place other thn groin/"my sit bone" she said "its common and that its ""referred pain"" from the endo on my ovaries" and since that visit (of course afer trying to change diet blablabla and gazillions of birth controls to stop me from getting my period) I have finally given up and will be trying lupron shots. I'll keep you posted if this helps...?
