I found that I was like that on a good day, then the next day I tried them again and promptly blew chunks all over my boyfriend's bathroom. Evryone could hear me cos I am so loud (attention seeker haha) Good times! If like me you find they make you high as a kite but don't even touch the pain, ask your doc to try you on something else. It's very expensive finding the right meds though! xx

There are so many opiods that could be better for you, cos I know I went through a fair few, some that didn't make me woozy as the others. Can you take NSAIDs? I am biased cos i seem too sensitive to codeine type stuff, but they work for me most of the time. I am taking Eccoxolac which doesn't act on your stomach in the negative way that ibuprofen does. It's just that NSAIDs don't have that narcotic effect, and they are anti inflammatory too. It might be helpful if you don't want to go through the fuss of trying so many different codeine type painkillers to find the one that doesn't make you feel like a stoner xx
