I've had a look around and can't find anything that talks about this type of pain and endo.
I have just been to the gyna and he thinks that my pain is endo.
I seem to have pain each night with the build up of gas (sorry), and as my bladder fills too I think. They gyna thinks that is because I have endo on the ligaments of the uterus and that as my bladder fills, or there is pressure in that region it pushes against the ligaments and causes pain. As far as I know I only have endo on these ligaments & pod, (so I guess I am lucky).
Also my uterus is very tipped, so I don't know if that contributes to the pain.
I am so glad I have found this site as it is the only place I can ask questions with people who know how I feel.

Hey Sarah! I have pain while I pee, and I sometimes get those quick sharp pains on what feels like my bladder randomly. I have never had them find endo on that area so far, but I'm going in for my 4th lap next week and am hoping they will find it all. I originally had it on the front of my uterus... and they tell me my uterus is abnormally small. The other thing that kinda sucks is that sometimes we feel what we think is specific pain in a certain area, and all the while it can actually be referred pain. The only way to know forsure is to have the lap. Have you ever had one done?

My pain is any where from sharp pains to pressure that makes me feel as though I will explode.
I do think it gets worse when I am bloated especially when I am menstrating. I also get contracting type feelings in my bladder which cause me to urinate more. ( This is beside from being pregnant)

Thanks both for your replies. Yes have had lap, just one. He said I had no endo on bladder, and I have read that endo in the bladder is quite rare. He wants me go on on the pill to see if the pain is endo, but I want to stick with my diet for some time to come, as leaving out sugar, wheat & diary does seem to help, (although it is hard to stick to). I hadn't thought of referred pain, maybe that could be happening. It is good to know I am not alone with this. There are days when I think I am going mad, and I feel stupid for making a fuss Cheers

I was for sure my doc. would find my bladder covered in endo. I even went to a urologist for a cystoscopy. My urologist was able to tell me that it was referred vaginal pain and that everything in that area is too close to really be able to tell from where the pain is coming. I quit the pill a couple years later, and the "urinary" pain went away. My "urinary" pain was actually vaginal atrophy from the pill! Apparently, if you have vaginal irritation, the pH of urine irritates the back of the vagna? I have no idea, but I think that's what the urologist told me.
Anwyay, hope you get it sorted out. I remember being afraid to pee!
Good luck.

I hate that the doctor suggested you just go on the pill to see if its endo pain! What is that?? My last doc wanted me to just start lupron to deal with the pain until he realized that there was the chocolate cyst! Anything to put you out that door quicker! I'm glad that you are thinking its better to try out your diet first rather than taking more pills... thats just me though!
