I have had a new painful sensation for a little while now and wonder if anyone else experiences this:
just above my pubic hair line, but deep inside, I have a "burning" kind of pain. Its not uterine cramps, those are a little higher and feel like cramps. I have had this for a few weeks, off and on, everyday. It isn't related to whether or not I am bleeding. I recently had ultrasounds and have a gyne appt scheduled for a few weeks from now.
Also, my lower pelvic region has felt firm since my period of last month. Usually I feel a firmness right before my period starts and then it softens again when I am done bleeding. I have tension there all the time now...
anyone relate?

I just finished my period and had two ultrasounds before that - pelvic and vaginal...

Grrr. Actually, it kind of sounds like part of my endo pain before my first lap. I hope it's not endo acting up for you...but I also hope it is nothing worse! If they didn't find it on the ultrasounds, there is a chance that it is your endo again.

yeah thats what I figure but I can't even identify exactly where the pain is... I still don't know what the abnormality is on my cervix since I havent seen a gyne yet but maybe its realted to that?! Its very strange and annoying - the pain is almost like a fresh cut and I am tender to the touch...
I was excited by your first response though for a second there...

Oh yah. It could be cervical. I didn't think about that. When do you see the gyne re: your cervix? You want a baby, huh? I'll keep my fingers crossed that it happens for you!

My appt is April 17...
........logically I do not want a baby right now.........biologically I want a baby so bad its just silly, like a fierce chocolate craving......................whenever I see a pregnant woman I get lost in a trance. Its funny actually. Like turning 30 flipped a switch.

I get a similar burning pain all over my pelvic area, kind of stinging. This is mostly during my period although this month I've had similar pains mid-cycle especially when I bend down.
Hope it sorts itself out soon anyway Camille!

It's funny you said turning 30 kinda flipped a switch!! I was diagnosed just a few months after my 30th birthday last year! The pain you're having sounds similar to something that I used to have right in my c-section scar. After I had my tubal though it went away. Doc told me that endo had attached itself to the scar tissue there and he cleaned it out....I guess. The pain is gone though so whatever he did made that pain better. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope that it all works out! Shannon

hey painpainpain....
that might make some sense...I had a lap last fall and an incision was made right where that "burning" pain is...maybe endo attached itself to my scar?! It feels close to the surface but it is definately internal! Very interesting...thank you....................
