So far I haven't had any issues with my stomach. I have a rought iron stomach it seems. I have been having to take extra strength tylenol with it, and I seem to be able to sleep in short bursts, but yet to have a good sleep. I am hoping that within a few days I should see some results. The doctor could not believe that I've made it this long in the pain I'm in... I've never taken anything beyond 4 advil migraine. My back pain has started to go down a bit, but I am more noticing the sharp pains in my front.
I guess we'll see how it goes... I may end up being back in there looking for something else.. but for now I don't want to go anywhere or do anything... I'm so exhausted...
Thanks for that description Rin! It was more detailed than the one I got with my perscription. I was a little surprised that I only got something for 'menstrual cramps'. I know that sounds harsh but come on... I would never describe it as 'menstrual cramps'. That would be a walk in the park! Thats what normal women have when they have their period. Sorry if that offends anyone... just a little frustrated.

My gastro said that it depends how close the blood vessels are to the lining of the stomach whether or not a person will get stomach bleeding and how quickly the bleeding will develop.

I still haven't found stomach discomfort but I've been taking it since last Thursday and I still don't feel any less pain in my lower back. I am still feeling the sharp cramps in my abdomen too. Maybe I should just go back to the doctor and get something else?

I was prescribed Naproxen years ago. It didn't work at all. I've been given all sorts of meds and the only thing that worked is Vicoden, which of course you can't live on. so i take it before bed if absolutly necessary, otherwise i just deal with the pain

I can relate to that forsure... its now been over a week or so and still no improvements. I've also heard though that when Naproxen is perscribed for arthritis it can take up to 4 months for the patient to notice improvement. That seems pretty useless in my opinion...
