Hi! I am new and don't even know if I have endo. My Dr. thinks it could be. I do not have any cramping type pain. I have an internal pain that I think is vaginal or cervical or near the bladder, mostly on the left side. It gets worse during my period, and feels like an "open wound". I feel it every day, and have for a couple of years. It can fluctuate from feeling like intense itching, to burning, to an aching pain that comes and goes. All yeast or bacterial infections have been ruled out. I am at a loss!

Hi, shiree. As you'll find by reading many other similar posts, the only way to determine whether or not you have endo is by direct observation--usually w/ a laparoscopy.
I'm guessing that cervical pain wouldn't be "mostly on the left side"...as your cervix is pretty much right in the middle. I had crazy pain on my left side, which I thought was going to wind up being a badly affected ovary, but it turned out to be my sigmoid colon adhesioned to my pelvic wall from the endo. There's really no way to tell until the doc. is inside w/ the scope.
Does your doc. want to perform a lap?

my pain wasn't like a burning or itching, but like a stabbing or ripping, and it was also centralized in the left side, but after a ct scan I found out it might be a hydrasalpinx (where one of the fallopean tubes is closed up and filled w/fluid).
