I posted my lap story in that thread so I won't repeat myself here. I am having some pain though and wonder if anyone can share their thoughts -
My healing has been outstanding. The incisions, the bruises, the general stiffness - all great. My surgeon said he "got it all" including some adhesions. HOWEVER, I am having ovarian pain. Mostly left, some on the right. He said he removed endometriomas from both ovaries (tiny). But they still hurt! I also still have stabbing/twisting pain in my intestinal area on the left. Horrible - pain I used to have during my menstrual cycle. Now I have it every day. I had a Mirena inserted during the lap and it is causing some cramping but its in my uterus and not that bad. Its separate from this unbearable stuff. Do you think this is surgery related? Is it possible he didn't "get it all"?
I have an appointment this afternoon - I need to find a solution - I can't have debilitating pain every afternoon - -- and pain killers either don't touch the pain or they make me throw up.
ARGHHH!

After my last surgery I had a lot of pain on my left side and when I asked the Dr. about it he said he never found any on that side. But that he had felt it was probably in my ligaments where he could not see it. Maybe ask the Dr. about this and ask if it could be possible in your situation.

Well, doc thinks I have a sprained muscle and that it is causing a lot of inflammation in my left pelvic area. I had a lot of stuff operated on on the left, adhesions and fatty gunk apparently sticking it all together. It sure feels like more than a sprained muscle but I am willing to go with this theory for a while.
He also gave an anti-biotic, just in case (I also took one when I first got home from surgery). He checked my IUD and said it was fine, in the right place. So, we will see how the new pain killers work...
