I have had endo. for 6 1/2 years. I stopped Lupron in March (had to...been on it too long) and am scheduled for another surgery in December. My pain has been getting worse with each period...however, this period hasn't been that bad. Does anyone know what could cause this? I've always had the experience that it stays the same or gets worse each month. Does this mean that all of a sudden my endo. is better? Or is it just some fluke?

Hi, lisa. Sometimes endo symptoms can wax/wane for unknown reasons. It could also have happened that you didn't ovulate for some reason. Once in a while anovulation can happen, and when it does, from what I have read and also from my experience, the pain during menses can be minimal to insignificant. Whatever causes it, I hope your pain goes stays away! Probably the best thing to do is to just count your blessings and hope for continued relief!
