I was wondering if anyone has heard of a connection between your stress level and your pain level? Opinions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Definitely. It's not the only thing that affects my pain level, but it's certainly a factor. It makes sense because when you're stressed you're more tense, so your muscles are going to cramp more. When you're relaxed they won't cramp as much.

Hi Wendyjt
When I am stressed, anxious or nervous it is very painful for me. I get sharp pains in my lower abdominals. And even when I settle down they are still there, it is only till I go to sleep it seems to go away, I guess cause they are relaxed for a period of time.
Try to stay as little stressed as possible

I agree. When I'm stressed I my stomache revolts in every way possible, including endo pain. Whenever I get like that, I either get the heating pad or the ice pack (depending on the season) and a book. I make everyone go away and I read until I'm calm.

Thanks all, for your advise! I am definately seeing a connection. Unfortunately, I lead a rather stressful life. The hubby and I are now trying to figure out how best to lower the stress level in our lives. It's not easy to do! Thanks again!
