::)Hi I just wanted to let you know you are not alone. Sometimes I feel like no one understands my pain especially my doctors. They make you feel like a drug addict that just wants to get high and doesn't really have any pain. I have had two laps, the last just a little over a yr ago the doctor said I have endometriosis pretty much all over. The surgery helped for just about a month and a half and then the pain was back. The pain for the last six months has been constant pain so bad I miss work, and feel exhausted all the time. I am only 24 and feel like I have no life because of this disease. I am scared to death to have sex because it hurts during and even worse for days after wards. I take hydro-codeine 10mg or percocet for pain but I don't want to have to take pills just to function. My doctors won't even give it to me but a few times a year so I have to get it from my cousin who doesn't take them. I am so tired of feeling like my body is worn out let alone the fact I don't think I can have kids. Anyway, my whole point is that you are not alone and I have gone to the emergency room a lot just to get out of pain and most of the time I was treated like they believed the pain I was in but a few times I was just treated like a drug addict and given motrin or ultram that does not work for me at all. Don't give up we all have to keep fighting and keep praying that one day there will be a cure!

I've never taken any pain killers for my endo but have had really bad low back pain. For the past week I've been getting home and going straight to bed because I can't stand the pain. I am nervous though about asking for pain killers, I guess I'm afraid my doctor would think that I'm just drug seeking. The other problem for me would be that I don't do well with pain killers. I took hydrocodone after my lap-scope and it put me to sleep within 20 minutes. I guess I'm a total wuss for those things.

Thanks for all your replies. Thought I would just update you all as I haven't been on here for a while (been moving house etc).
I am going to see an Endo specialist on 20th November and will be asking for another lap. I am lucky enough to have discovered a specialist endo clinic in woking,uk and he has been researching endo for about 20 years. Thankfully my private medical insurance covers my treatment.
In regards to pain killers I take Co-dydramol pretty much daily, that is 500 mg paracetamol and 10mg codeine. I cant take ibruprofen due to asthma! Also for my lower back pain I wear heat pads if the pain is not too bad!
