I get a horrible stabing pain when my boyfriend is entering me I guess a bit like I'm too tight and it feels like a ripping, then I get the pain sandcastle describe when the penetration is deep it makes me jerk forward like the reaction you get when you press a bruise and finally I get a funny friction feeling about half way up.
I have been using a lidocaine cream for a few months now and it's fantastic for the initial ripping and the friction type pain, unfortunatly it doesn't appear to help with the deep penetration but it's ok in different positions - I'm just so glad I started using the lidocaine

I was having really bad pain with sex too. Sometimes I would have really bad cramps afterward. Also some bleeding sometimes. But right now...since laparscopy, and taking my meds (letrozole and aygestin) Its throwing me into early menopause, so sex is sort of a chore at the moment. Im rarely ever in the mood anymore, and when I am....there is not enough natural lubrication. This causes lots of burning sensations, even when lubrication has been used, there is burning. Anyone else have this experience??

OMG! thank you I had pain free sex for a while and then all of a sudden it felt like I was a virgin again and he couldn't get in. None of my gyn's believed me until I told me new one, and I'm scheduled for a lap (I'm scared to death!) I'm hoping they can do something, it's been 3 years since I've had sex because it hurts so bad I feel like I'm not alone in this anymore. Originally, I was diagnosed with vestibulitis, but it supposedly cleared but the pain is still there. My doctor gave me menopausal medicine to "lubricate" which was NEVER my problem. I used to cry whenwe even started to have sex. I was wonering what was wrong with me, it's relief to know I'm not alone. I just really want to have a sex life again...
