Good Morning, As much as I don't want endometriosis to plague women, it is comforting to have a place to share our struggles, pain, concerns, and even occasional victories. I am a forty year old mom of a wonderful six month old boy. He shocked me with his conception. I began cramping and experiencing pelvic pain monthly before my first period. For three months in a row, I curled up on the couch. Then, a month before my 12th birthday, I got my period and shortly thereafter, and thanks to my empathetic and astute pediatrician, it was suspected I had endometriosis. I was formally diagnosed at 14 after my first laparoscopy. Since then, I've had five more laps in which ligaments in my back were cut, my appendix was removed, and lesions remained. Recently (shortly before I conceived and since my period has returned post baby) I've had vomiting and diarrhea with my periods. Like all of you, I could go on.
I want to say thank you for your strength and determination to continue, especially on the hardest days. Thank you for your voice sharing the pain and heart ache of endometriosis, and thank you for your bravery. I look forward to supporting you all and sharing with you.
Be well.

Welcome! I'm new here too, but have learned a lot just by reading. The ladies here seem very supportive and caring!
