Hi ladies. I'm 36 years old and trying to figure out how to live with endo. I was sort of diagnosed about 7 years ago with endo after debilitating pain sent me to the emergency room. No laproscopy was done, but was only given birth control pills. I didn't have any pain after that. This past March, I began having the strangest symptoms. I'm awaiting an OB/GYN appointment in a few weeks finally. All of a sudden in March, I skipped a period (not pregnant) and after that these new symptoms started. First of all, I of course thought I was preggo because of the missed period, but also because my stomach blew up like a balloon! I looked pregnant, and it felt solid, not like fat. This eventually went away. But lately it comes back more frequently. Is this a common symptom? Its driving me crazy, not only is it so hurtful when people ask if I'm pregnant, but it actually hurts. Like skin stretching, not normal bloating. And now it is happening all the time. Its crazy. I'm driving myself crazy with worry waiting for this appointment. Not only worry over whats wrong, and possible treatments, but also feeling like fat cow that everyone stares at. I'm a tiny girl, but my stomach is huge all of a sudden. (Its never been flat, but I look like I'm about to give birth in a few months.) Does anyone have any tips for dealing with this and or specific questions to ask my doctor? Its going to be a new doctor for me, and I don't want to be ignored or patronized.
