hope this is the right place for this
i get these horrible pains in my uterus/womb like contractions and Ive never had kids but I'm pretty sure that's what its like usually about between 1-3 weeks before i start my periods and its bad i sometimes scream and often find myself on the floor in a ball in tears and cannot move for around 10-30 Min's sometimes its 5seconds sometimes 10 minutes approx they come and go as they please the only thing that stops them is 10-20ml oramorph and 1-2 tramacet (tramadol/paracetamol mix) its sooo bad and sometimes Ive been on the toilet feeling i need to push and its like a blood clot the size of golf balls sometimes very small but it takes the life out of me
also on periods i mainly get blood clots rather than bleeding like normal
now i had a ultrasound scan couple of months back and they found fibroid little ones that's all I'm awaiting a second lap date which is either just before or just after June....
these are as well usual stabbing pains pulling pains on ovary sides and 'normal' endo pains
has anyone else experienced these 'contractions' ? if so any diagnosis or clue as to what it is? is it normal? anything underlying?
thank you xxx

I had this pain too. I did not have fibroids, but my doctor suspected adenomyosis. I had a presacral neurectomy during my last lap. They don't take out the uterus, but cut the nerves to it so you can no longer feel it. That is an alternative to getting a hysterectomy.
It has helped a little, but most of my endo was in different areas. I've only had about 4 periods since the lap, but they are lighter (most likely due to BC), but I don't have horrible cramps anymore. The pain is usually endo pain and not coming from the uterus.

I have that pain but nothing diagnosed...also no children but sure fellas like what I think contractions would be. So much pain I to have curled on bathroom floor, why I don't know but gave me comfort....but didn't ease the pain just only place,I felt ok... No diagnosis yet..but soon going to to rip out my own ovaries and uterus.

I also had the pre sacral neurectomy done during my lap; but I just had it done a month ago so it would be too soon for me to tell you any difference it made.

Gosh I feel a zombie on so much meds during these pains specially morphine and its weird how men dont get it unless u cry scream holler I feel the need to smack somebody maybe hubby so he can feel it and he has no damn sympathy
I would give him my pains for a day hahaha lol they should invent something where a man can feel the pain maybe then they'd be different Hmmm I can only dream

The way I explained it to my husband was imagine getting kicked in the you know what all day long over and over again. He got the hint real quick... I always wrote letters to my husband and would leave them for him to read when I wasn't around. It helped him understand the stress.
My husband was amazing in understanding because I filled him in on everything. I still write him letter to give him updates.

It's hard not only for men to understand Endo but family member, friends, etc.. Because they can't see it they think we are fine or making it up but all of us on here know different. It's hard.. I hope he comes around for you. You have all of us always but nothing beats a hug from your man saying are you OK baby.. Hang in there..
BIG HUGS

I had the burning in my chest and pain in my left arm as well. I went to the hospital. The left arm scares the heck out of me. I ended up being severely dehydrated. Look at your toung if it is completely white you could be dehydrated. I drank vitamin water non stop for two days and it went away. Don't take my word on this though go to your Dr. Never take a chance with you Left arm or chest pains.

With your husband like I said you have to put it in terms they understand use his private parts to make him understand. When I wrote my husband the first letter it was like 5 pages long but that was when he finally got it. I had to explain it like he was a kid. They don't understand a women's body heck sometimes we don't. Tell him you need his support and need him to hug you so you can feel safe in his arms.
until then I send you hugs every day.
