Since I had my lap in Aug. I started taking Aygestin and Letrozole pills since Oct. I seem to stay on my period in some way shape or fashion. Lately I am about 10 days inbetween periods. And they last for about 7-10 days...not near as much bleeding mind you...but I do still have some cramping too. But then...the rest of that time I continue to spot off and on for the rest of the month. I might have about week that Im completely off. Anyone else experience this???

If either of those meds. you listed is a birth control pill or other hormone, then you'll find lots of info on breakthrough bleeding here on the forum. Just do a search. I was the same way w/ like 10 or 11 different hormones that I was on. It can actually be dangerous (not to mention make the endo worse), because bleeding for so long can lead to anemia.

Hi scarletmoon, i was told by one doctor that bleeding for so long can also make it harder for you to stop, something to do with low iron levels. How have you been feeling in yourself, tired besides the usual tiredness from the endo or anything? The last long bleed I had (when I started the prostap GnRH treatment) had to be stopped with high doses of tranexamic acid, which hadn't helped when I had taken it in normal doses to control my heavy periods. Also when I used to have very long periods my doctor used to put me on dicynene until the bleeding stopped. Neither of these gave me any bad side effects so maybe your doc could look into something to give your body a break. Hope you get sorted x
