I had my lap a week ago. Went back to work Thursday and am slowly feeling better. Then Bam, woke up today to horrible ovulation pain. I've had this for years but today is super bad. We got a babysitter and were supposed to go out tonight. Sure hope a bunch of Motrin will help. My poor clueless husband said, I thought you wouldn't have that anymore? He didn't get that the lap will help some, but not completely or forever. Sigh

If the surgeon removed any endometriosis from your ovary, pain during ovulation is likely to be expected this month. Also a heads up that your first period is likely to be horrific. Your insides need to heal from the surgery, it takes a month or two, so don't feel let down yet

Thanks for your reply. I need to ask the doctor where the endo was that he removed. I have had the ovulation pain for years. I haven't had one friend understand what that means when I mention it. They give me a puzzled expression like really? I look forward to learning from all of you!

I have ovulation pain almost every month too. This month i pinpointed EXACTLY when I was ovulating and it was on my left. It's called Mittlesmertz and it SUCKS! It adds to the pain you already experience on a daily basis...
