Hi.
I know all women get various amounts of vaginal discharge. I just wanted to know if anyone else gets a light yellowish discharge that happens right before their period is to start? Mine has NO odor at all really. I do have any real itching or irritation down there either.
Everywhere you read online it says any yellow discgarge means infection. Then there are sites that say it is normal. Not sure what to believe. Just wanted to know if anyone else out there has this??

If it's right before your period it could be a tiny bit of blood mixed with normal mucus?

For me, my CM can vary to a yellow-ish even tinted greenish, but it's always related to where I am in my cycle. For me it's totally normal. I would advise reading Taking Carge of Your Fertility if you want to learn more about your cycle. There were so many things I thought were weird or wrong but were actually totally normal, and I can see consistent patterns now that I have tracked my temp daily.

Thank you both for the replies, I appreciate it. I am just keeping an eye on it for now. I bought that vaginal PH test kit at walgreens. It is this stick with a PH paper on it that you put in the vagina and it can see if you have a healthy PH. I guess with like a infection like BV it will be off. Mine was normal so I guess that is good. Thanks for the tip on that read, I will definitely look into it.. Thanks again..
