Hey everyone,
I hope you can share comments if you have experienced something similar. It is actually the first time it is happening to me but started getting a bit worried. Will visit my doctor next week as per his advice.
I am having stopping in the third week of my cycle. It started on Tuesday and it is still going a fourth day now. I also feel feverish.
Thank you in advance.

I actually have been spotting all month and it's not the first time it has happened. I wish I could say I had an answer for you why but I have to say I can not answer this one

I've had spotting before, and for me, it was either a sign that the birth control I was on didn't agree, I had sex when my body was in a lot of pain, or (after I gave up birth control) when my hormones were really out of whack and my cycles were really irregular. Do any of those situations seem to apply? Are you confirmed as having endo? Are you on any new medication, or medication that you've been on for a long time? Any chance you have a bacterial infection?
If the answer to those questions is no, a hormonal imbalance might be to blame. Most doctors just 'treat' that with birth control, though there are other options that you can fight for. Surprisingly, diet changes can do wonders at helping balance hormones on their own!

Hi Karen,
I was confirmed to have endo in Aug 2009 when I had a surgery. After I had a hormonal treatment. Since then I have been mostly fine with the exception of 2-3 days during my period when I still have a lot of pain.
This with the spotting is a first for me. It lasted 4 days. I will see my doctor this Friday and will see what he will advise me.
Recently I had started endo diet. Third week now actually :-). Hopefully that will help with my pain.
Thank you for your support. I raised the questions since I read that spotting could be linked to endo!

I had ten days of spotting after ovulation until my next period one cycle last fall, kind of weird but it hasn't happened again. I chalked it up to stress, who knows.

Finally, it was just an infection from the sea according to my doctor. Hope it does not happen again.

OH good to hear! I hope it doesn't happen again! It's funny you mentioned the spotting during the 3rd week because this just started happening to me too and I don't know why. I'm just blaming my new job and sleep/stress schedule on it and just hope that it resolves itself. I'm glad yours was easily addressed and that's the end of it!
