Well we didn't have net for a while and we just got it so I found my way back to you lovely people I do hope you are all doing well with your endo and life in general.
In case some of you were wondering, my problems have not gottebn any better. If anything they are worse. The last time I posted here I stated that I had finally found a dr who believed that something wasn't quite right with my health. Well, that dr will no longer see me because Medicare took every bit of help away from me and I became totally uninsured. So I have gone without any kind of treatment since then.
But on the good side my Medicare has been reinstated and I did have to break down and apply for Medicaid eventhough not many great providers take it around here. So as far as my possible endo goes I may have to travel farther than I wish, but it is better than recieving no care.
On another note I had to visit the ER again the other day. I got over my period last week, and it came back this week without any mercy for me. I recognized the awful pain and since I did not know I had my partial insurance back I went to the ER to have them give me an ultrasound. But I refused to have it unless I was given Toridol due to my pain I was in. No way did I want a trans-vaginal without it!
I have a 27mm Comple cyst on my left ovary this time - yes I said left, not right. Guess my right one went on a cystless vacation for a while.
While at the ER the Dr said that if I get any weaker, feel faint, clammy, or the heavy bleeding doesn't stop then I need to go back for a possible blood transfusion. I have lost a lot of blood due to the 2 periods so close together. I feel ok now. Just a little weak and have meds to take for my pain.
I also spoke with someone from financial services and the woman gave me a new list of pcp's and did seem concerened about my situation...so did every nurse and dr I saw that night, which was a very nice switch. My main dr that night recognized me...well that's because I have been known to live in the ER LOL! But I will be calling a new healthcare provider later on today. I still owe money to my old provider whichI probably will pay since its the right thing to do, but to me I do not owe her....she owes me....and apology. For the poor care she has given me and the extra suffering I have had to endure because if she just believed me then maybe I wouldn't be in the situation I am now with my health.
Now I know my cyst is small but like all of them it is wreaking havoc on me. But the severity of it is a good thing in a way because medical staff is able to see that there may be other issues.
Anyway, I am glad to be back and I have missed all of you knowledgable ladies
