I've never heard of cilest, but this is exactly what happened to me when i used the nuva ring. I had to stop because I felt so sick i couldn't eat. I'd give it a few weeks and if it doesn't get better, try something different.

Hi, I think this was the first pill I ever took, about 20 years ago. As far as I recall I had no noticeable side effects. If the nausea doesn't subside in the next couple of days check with your doc. Have you read the insert in the pack?

Hi!
I haven't taken that one before but I'd say give it a good 3-4 weeks before you stop it - sometimes it takes the body some time to adjust esp. if you have gone from one brand right to the next. I hope you feel better!
Are you taking it with a meal? I wonder if that might help?

Any new treatment takes some time for your body to get used to so I would also suggest giving it some time. However, if it's so bad that you are severely limited then maybe it's not the pill for you. If it gets so severe then it's best to ask your doctor. I hope it gets better though!! Sometimes taking the pill at night can allow you to sleep through that initial spike in hormone level so you don't have to deal with being sick. That can sometimes work.

That one sounds really familiar - I think I was on that years ago. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the nausea - although I had just about every other side effect from the pill, that was never one of them. But I think Jenaya's advice was pretty solid - if you can tolerate it, wait it out. If it's completely unbearable, no sense in torturing yourself for a few months!
