Hey everyone,
Just looking to see if anyones had a similar experience and looking for some guidance/support I guess.
I just had my lap in January and had three small spots of endo removed. The process of getting the doctor to actually do the surgery and take me seriously was a nightmare. She had insisted to give me the Mirena rather than do a lap even though I had not had children and wasn't having any luck with any prior hormone treatments. Getting the Mirena in was the most painful thing I've had done (no painkillers!) and after suffering for a year and a half with it (constant bleeding, BAD cramps, stabbing and pinching pains) I demanded it out. It took her about five yanks but she got it out and I still worry that she did damage.
After the Mirena was out she finally said she'd do a lap to check for endo, but she told me "don't be upset because I probably wont find anything". After my surgery she told my mom about finding the three spots and removing them. I was so happy to finally know for sure what the problem was! The final straw with her was my follow up appointment where she insisted I only had two spots not three and wouldn't let me look at my surgical report as "I wouldn't understand it". I just got a copy of it last week from my family doctor and it says three spots!!!
Sooo now on to the current issue! I've had problems with my bladder for a while. Lots of what felt like bladder infections, but I always test negative. It doesn't burn when I pee, it just hurts like a bad muscle cramp at the end of the stream, and its getting harder and harder to go at all. My bladders so incredibly swollen I can hardly get into half my clothes. I managed to get into a urologist, to which my jerk gyno said "how did you get in? don't you know what hes gunna do to you? He's going to jam a camera up there"
Well at least my uro has been great so far. He was able to tell me he's worried about the size of my bladder right now. I'm just waiting for an ultrasound date to find out whats going on. It seems its probably either IC or endo she missed.
Does anyone have advice on how to cope with bladder pain??? I'm only drinking water and I'm dying from this pain. It's been three weeks and I still haven't heard when my ultrasound is.
Sorry long story! Just need some support
