I am just getting ready to go onto the endo diet and am trying to figure out the different subsitutes there are available that are acceptable. What do you use to replace flour? Do you make your own bread? Is rice milk better to cook with or is almond milk? Any suggestions are appreciated

I can't comment on flour since wheat is fine for me. I prefer cooking with rice milk as I like the taste better. Cheese really has no substitute, and I don't know what to use to substitute eggs. The various alcohols that some recipes call for can usually be substituted with fruit juice. Check out www.foodsubs.com/, it may be of some use to you.

Thanks I am going to cut absolutely everything out for 6 weeks and slowly add things back in to see what my body dislikes. I already know that milk is has to go though.

You can use ground flax seed to substitute eggs. I use 1 tablespoon of flax and 3 tablespoons of water for one egg. Apparently you can also use chia seeds.
