To everyone, even if you aren't from the U.S.A., Happy Thanksgiving!!! This is a great time for reflection and thankfulness in the midst of our struggles for health and happiness! What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for the amazing man I married, who makes it possible for me to pursue taking charge of my health. Without him, I would be miserable and in pain every day.

I am thankful for so many things. My friends and family, my boyfriend, my cat who always cheers me up when I'm down. I'm especially thankful for my new job. I'm thankful for my health no matter how up and down it can be. I'm also grateful for those who help me with my health and have given me hope that I will continue to feel better. I just feel really thankful that I'm alive and get to experience life.

Anyone out there cheat on their diets? I ate EVERYTHING, even the evil gluten and tons of sugary crap. When I saw that the food was all basted in gluten and the stuffing was all over the turkey I just thought, no matter how hard I try I'm going to get exposed to gluten so I might as well just enjoy everything. So I ate everything I wanted. Today my face is so swollen and I have pins and needles pain all over my body and even pelvic pain that I haven't felt in months. SIGH!!! Good to know that I'm doing the right thing though by changing my diet. I'm thankful that my health problems are all treatable with a special diet and don't have to take medications with side effects

Uh, yeah, I'm with you. I woke up with a puffy face and VERY puffy mid-section. Went shopping for a dress for a holiday party I have next week and it was miserable. I think in a few days when I'm back to my normal eating habits I should be ok, but my god, I feel TOTALLY unsexy at the moment and have plans tonight with someone I want to be looking good for!
Anyway, I hope things clear out for you in a few days! I'm lucky that there wasn't much pain this time around - I think I eat so little of that stuff that my body doesn't react as harshly anymore - but I feel for you!!

Oh I'm so sorry that you all got glutened! I actually made it through ok--being vegetarian helps avoid a lot of things. I hope you both feel better soon.
