Just looking for some insight on Intestinal Endo symptoms. What are you symptoms. Do you suffer from C & D? Have episodes?
Thanks Tanya

A lot of docs don't think intestinal endo exists. Some women may have it on their bowels, some will have it invade the bowel. Some women just have bowel problems because of the general inflammation in the pelvis. Unless you have it diagnosed via laparaoscopy it's just impossible to know what the cause of bowel issues are, unless you can link them maybe to foood intolerances/allergies. Since I stopped eating wheat/gluten my IBS symptoms have reduced. There are many, many threads about stomacj and bowel issues around!

Hi, I was diagnosed with having endo on my intestines duringon my lap, but also they could see it when I got an MRI, actually endo was in most of my pelvic organs, up to my diaphragm as well. For me the symptoms were quite bad, cramps, very painful spasms, vomit, difficult eating even just drinking water, A dr explainded to me even thougth it is outside it does create inflammation in the area and since you bleed every month it does get irritated, In my case was pretty during and right after my period, since the 'internal bleeding' does not have where to go, it does create inflammation, scar tissue and it does take some time for to get absorbered by the body. for me it help to go with endo diet, supplements and some natural approches, etc.

I had a bowel resection due to endo. My left ovary was stuck to my sigmoid colon and the scar tissue and inflammation had caused a stricture (very narrow). I have had IBS symptoms, d-predominant, but during my period I would get constipated and could feel anything moving along (ouch). I always just thought it was normal until it got unbearable.
I also had endo on my small intestine- that caused an obstruction during my period (lots of throwing up- a month before my excision surgery!). For me, the excision seemed to have helped. My bowels will always be messed up, and I am pretty sure I actually have IBS (raw veg, greens, cooked onions set me off terribly) but that part is definitely manageable. The endo part for me was the most serious and went way beyond IBS symptoms, but it was probably going on for a long time before I knew it!

Thanks for the feedback! I have suspected that there is something going on outside of my intestines that can't be seen with a scope. I go through episodes of C (I go as long as 10 without a bowel movement) to episodes of D right before my period. I have found that food doesn't bring on episodes. I have constant pain/discomfort that gets worse with C (obviously) and around when I ovulate and menstrate. I'm still waiting for my referral to the gyno
