Hey guys, I have been in so much pain of late, and feeling so tired, its keeping me up at night and Im unable to sleep properly . I been taking panadole and bruffen every four hours, I just stopped taking injections that block the hormones (neither mum or I remember what they were called) and I just started bleeding again, and with that increasing pain. I dont know what to do no more, I just been feeling missarable, as missing out of Youth camp this coming Friday and stuff, Im also going in for my second Lap on the 14th so hoping that should help. Any suggestions? (soz for spelling mistakes)

Hi there, So sorry you're in so much pain. Were the injections you were on called Lupron or Zoladex, maybe? If the hormonal route isn't helping you, it may really be worth trying the natural route. Lots of women on this board swear by the endo diet. I can't really speak for it, having not had the willpower to give up red meat and caffeine, but lots of women experience a noticable improvement in their symptoms by changing their diet. Are you using a heat pad/hot water bottle as well? When just the painkillers aren't cutting it for me, I find the addition of my heat pad really helps. Sorry I can't help more; I really hope your upcoming lap improves things for you.

I echo what Hannah said - if what you were on isn't helping, there are lots of more natural approaches you can take either on your own or in conjunction with what your doctor is trying. The endo diet can really, really, really take the edge off and any woman with endo owes it to herself to at least try it for a few weeks. Pelvic physical therapy can do wonders, too! There are so many options and I would really encourage you to try things that will allow you to take back some control over this awful disease.

Have you tried sitting in a hot bath for the pain? I'm so sorry you're hurting so much. I hope you feel better soon!
