There is a TV program on Discovery Fit and Health all about the Undiagnosed Diseases Program at the National Institutes of Health. It's so awesome! You have to apply to the program and be accepted into it but it's a 5 day long investigation into your health for people who have been to numerous doctors with no answers. Apparently it's hard to get in but for people out there who need help and have been from doctor to doctor, getting accepted into this program sounds absolutely amazing. Just thought I'd share. rarediseases.info.nih.gov/Resources.aspx?PageID=31

Yeah I was definitely thinking of you when I caught wind of this program. You and Karla. It looks like they have temporarily suspended accepting applications dude to the massive amount of people that have applied, but I imagine they will open it up again. It's sad that so many people are out there suffering and desperate for answers. What a cool program though huh?? I think all hospitals should open a program like this. This program in particular is here in Maryland Keri! All the more reason to come out here for your care! Of course, I'm biased because we'd get to hang out!

I saw that they suspended it but I am going to keep checking. I ate a litle fish today and veggies and withing minutes I got bloated. Its so depressing I would do anything to fix my body. I am so desperate for help that I may even let someone cut again if that is what would fix it.

I really wish I could help you Keri! I really just don't get what's happening! I can't wait for you to see the endocrinologist. Maybe they'll figure it out. GOD I hope so!

Someone at work mentioned my thyroid and wondered why its never been tested before. I'm starting with that & going for the Addisons test. Fatigue is awful I work & sleep. Seth gets glimpses of me and Jacob learned to iron bc he didn't want to wake me up in the morning before school:( Seth gets him up and ready I feel like half a** mom. Its very frustrating. I went how long without eating and still didn't feel this exhausted. GP mentioned trying a different iron infusion. very risky! They always seem to want to do the risky stuff with me. Anphalatic Shock is not something I ever want to do again!

You've never had your thyroid tested through all this hell you've been through?!??!?!
That's really infuriating. Hopefully this endocrinologist does SOMETHING for you.
