I found out a while ago that I am lactose intolerant so I have already been on a lactose free diet. Now that I am looking at the threads and seeing that dairy is so bad for endo I am wanting to know what part of the dairy is it? Is it the lactose? After researching I found out that the longer a cheese ages the less lactose there is in in. So I can actually have some sharp cheese sometimes. There is also a brand of milk that has no lactose in it, I use that in cooking. Anybody have any ideas on whether or not this could have a negative effect?

The endo-resolved website has a section about the Endo diet which explains which things are bad for you and why, maybe you'll find some notes there? I personally love almond milk. It doesn't taste like almonds to me, it tastes like milk!

ok, wait a minute. I've just been thrown for a loop. I can't eat beef, pork or dairy, well I can but I'll be balled up crying in pain. Is it possible that this isn't "IBS" as they call it but could be endo? Good question! I'm going to scoot these posts over to an existing thread that's worth a look-see. cjlevett.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=30
