I got this idea from another forum but we can put our top annoying things we hate when people say them to us. My personal "favorite:"
"It's so tough being a girl." -Um no, you f**ktard. Not every girl goes through this!

"Why don't you just get a hysterectomy?" That was THE first thing my mom asked when I told her what was going on with me. Don't worry, girls, I set her straight...

My husband approached me for sex once and I wasn't feeling it because at that time I was getting A LOT of pain during sex. He then said to me, "well your mouth doesn't have endometriosis." I can assure you ladies, he suffered my wrath for this comment.

When facing infertility (due to endo), we heard lots of stupid stuff. "When are you and your husband going to start thinking about having kids?" "What? You don't like kids?" "You can have my kids!" (we started telling ppl that we'd call our adoption lawyer. That shut them up pretty quickly!)

Hey Jenaya - you should have told your husband that his hand doesn't have endometriosis! ;D I just tried to 'like' this!!! Amazing!!! One girl said to me, 'oh, I totally know how you feel - I get a good few hours of cramps when I come on, it makes me really grumpy'. I appreciate she was trying to be understanding, but seriously, it just made me mad. This was the day I'd dragged myself in on the first day of one of my periods and I couldn't stand up straight from pain. Also, my mum constantly saying, 'have a baby Gem, have one, it'll be fine, I'll help when you're ill, just do it, do it Gem', AARRGGGHHHH!!!!!

Well on top of that I've heard from a number of sources that having a baby doesn't really fix endo... even though I'd love to have an excuse to pop one out! ;D

Last night I was asked why I had so many surgeries.
Her: "well why don't you just yank it all out then" Me: "I did, the endo all grew back" Her: "I didn't know it could do that"
"I DIDN'T KNOW IT COULD DO THAT" - THIS IS THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING PEOPLE TELL ME.
the uneducated doctors, nurses and friends that have said this to me!! Its ridiculous! I have been very open and told my family that nothing was going to be cured but they don't want to know. I keep trying to help educate them! I have written papers and posted notes and links and ARGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!
