hi my names sharon i am 33 years old i have a servere case of endo i have high blood pressure, polocystic ovaries and of course endometriosis, i am on meds of bp i take microgynon 30 which is a strong pill plus primulat which is to supposedly to stop and bleeding..which it hasnt i have had 7 laparoscopys for my endo and doesnt matter what pill i go on i get break through bleeding all the time and the pain i have since my last lap in april this yr....my gyno has suggested zoladex and danazol or the mirena....i cant do danazol or zolodex as my bp is too high for it...and im a female and the side effects are that my voice will change and stuff...yeah na good thanks....but the mirena has anyone had any success on it....or even any info on it? i am very hesitant to try the mirena as i get bad pain and the break through bleeding is hard to control just at the point now where i have had enough but not to give away my chance of having more babies if i wanted to i already have 1 child....but dont want a hysterectomy just yet....any advice would be great thanks

my doc told me mirena or implanon and i went for implanon and its pretty great for me right now. there's a thread with more about it around here somewhere. id advise you to take a look at it. some of the girls here had a tough time with mirena because of their endo. and welcome to the board

thanks for the reply Shannon
i cant have the implanon its not strong enough to stop the break through bleeding...i have treid the deprovera injection didnt even work for 1 week, have had dianne 35 and prvera tablets at the very start b4 my son was born 5 years ago....that didnt work either...im very hesitant about the mirena as i am over things not working and not sure if im willing to try this if it doesnt work
