I have found that tiger balm helps a little, it does have a minty smell and its strong. i use this when i have headaches, also when pain gets to bad, but i would not recommend it internally, not a good idea, not that i tried it, it heats up and with the menthol mixture, it seems like it would burn lol. i am sure tiger balm and a heating pad together would be an amazing combo! hope this helps a little~headed to read the heat thread!

Hi Hatten! welcome to the board!
When I was a dancer, we used to SWEAR by tiger balm for all of the aches and pains of dancing 8 hrs a day. We were tigerbalm junkies--all of us had it in your dance bags, amidst the tights/leotards/warmups, body glide to reduce burns from the floor, hairbrush and hairclips/pins/bands, and tape for split toes (I was a modern dancer professionally, and so we danced barefoot, which meant lots of cracks in teh feet where the toes join the foot. SOO painful). You really brought me back with that post!
However, I would NOT recommend combining tiger balm and heating pad. Menthol + heat burns! badly!!! (I've tried it, unfortunately).
