Does anyone know what are medical rights are? If you are in pain Can they refuse you help for pain?... I am beside myself I'm starting to lose my soul because of this pain . My Dr. told me after my surgery in September I had sever Endometriosis... The worst He'd ever seen.. I just had a lupron shot last Saturday and the pain is so bad still and nothing to talk....What do I do? If I really need the Meds. how can I abuse them? What do I Do someone help....xoxoxoxJessica

I guess the answer would depend very much on where you live and how they work, it seems it varies so much from place to place. Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?

I've found that you sometimes have to "shop around" for a doc who will give you an Rx for what you need.

I went to the ER tonight and they gave me oxycodone 10/325 I feel so much better. I called the Dr. befor I left and they said you have to do what you have to do. Drs. suck....

maybe you live near me, jess. the lupron may make your symptoms way worse for the first couple of weeks. it did for me. i would definitely keep pushing until you find a doc that will give you pain meds. i always make sure my doc knows (with a slightly irritated tone) just how bad my pain is. it's always good to tell them, 'the pain is affecting my quality of life.' good luck and keep us posted.

I also had worse pain in the beginng of my Lupron shots but, it def. got better! Good Luck!!!
