I have just realised is says its for hair removal!! Well I've never had any problems with it and the ingrediants are the same as the one my friends doc prescribes, the only active ingrediant is the lidocaine itself.

What about your boyfriends/husbands. Are they okay with this? Does it affect them at all? I'm really eager to try but my boyfriend is a little hesitant about it. My husband said that he can't feel any physical difference w/ the Lidocaine (other than sex being better bc I don't hurt when I have to use it)--no numbing or anything on his part. We are also able to orgasm without problem when using Lidocaine, so that isn't a concern, either. It's not surprising that the lidocaine won't affect the man, because it is so rapidly absorbed through the vaginal mucus membranes. I get my lidocaine by prescription...but I actually got the idea to ask for the Lidocaine after I used Benzocaine--yes, Anbesol that you put in your mouth when you have a toothache!
