On this vitamin C pack it says that the dose is 1000mg and gives 1667% of your RDA. So with my 3000mg per day I sound like I'm spot on and am only slightly over by taking those 2 multivits. Think I'll step it up to 4000mg myself and need to get my iron intake up.

Cherry let me know how the iron intake goes and be ready with a stool softner and if it bothers your tummy too much you may not be able to take iron oral. Gosh I want IRON so bad I would give up my bling for it lol. Cant take it and cant get it IV been trying for years. Maybe this new supplement plan will boost me up so it doesnt matter that my iron is almost nothing.

Iron is absorbed a lot better when you take it with vitamin C. It helps maximize absorption and it helps with the constipation issue.
Go cherry go!

The thing to remember for RDA is that it is just barely enough to keep you from falling apart haha. Vit C - just enough to prevent Scurvy, Vit D - just enough to prevent Rickets, and some, they have no idea how much we need like Iodine. I have been getting 8333% RDA Iodine for several mos now. It's called Iodoral.

I'll be upping my Vit C dose shortly and have been doing some research on everything I'm supposed to take. I found this great website that explains all the supplements and vitamins well! Here's a fact sheet on vit c: ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/VitaminC-QuickFacts/
