Yep, that's me. I'm reactive/allergic to everything too!!! I went ahead and took another pill. I'll see how it goes. If side effect continue I'll stop. Really hoping I didn't just waste $22!!!
Thanks for the input!

Yeah these pills are expensive I really hope it's not the supplement making you sick. I may be inclined to buy them off of you if you end up not liking them.... Maybe keep that in mind if you end up not tolerating them. That way you didn't waste all that money.

Ha - I actually thought of that, but wasn't sure if you'd want to since you don't know me! Glad to hear you're for it! )

Ok, I'm going off this for a few days. Have to get some more bloodwork done and I don't want ANYTHING to interfere. Come Tuesday, though, hopefully I'll be back on it.

Second day I got a terrible headache after the second dose and according to my 17 year old I seemed spacey. A headache will do that to you and I'm not entirely sure it was the Acetyl/Alpha. I was on the 4th day of a not so good period. The third day I didn't have any reactions good or bad. Fourth day, again nothing! My husband started taking them to see if he felt anything and zip for him too (3 days). Yesterday I completely forgot to take it - kind of funny don't ya think. I haven't taken it today because my endo isn't playing nice and I just don't feel well. Not sure what I'll end up doing.
Thanks for checking in Jenaya! I will definitely let you know if I decide to stop. I don't want to give up too soon, but I don't want to keep taking something that isn't helping either.
Wondering about you too, Myrtle. Any better?

Hmm yeah I understand on taking things that don't work. Why bother huh? It took me a couple of days to notice a difference. How many are you taking per day?

Hey yall--sorry it's been a crazy weekend. My husband had his big annual fundraiser event, and he'd decided to ditch teh hoity toity event (which raised no money) and do a bike-themed carnival. It was pretty fun, but that meant prepping for the event, attending teh event (8 - 12 last night) and then helping clean up after teh event (until 3am last night and noon - 6 today). It makes it even better that we had to haul everything out from DC to Crystal City (a DC suburb in VA) by BICYCLE. Never, ever try to put on a 300 person event, hauling every damn thing 20 miles by bike. Do you know how heavy liquor for that many people is? I told Shane, next year we're renting a damn Uhaul. It's ok to burn some gas, even for a bike organization. So that long story is relevant. I got through all of this, which is amazing. I'm sore and my abdomen is hurting (lots of lifting/moving/pulling/manual labor) kind of all over and my uterus is cramping like crazy, but I am still sitting here and and simply being tired and sore--not feeling like death only slightly warmed over. I'm going to bed soon, but I still feel alive and I really cannot believe it. This ACA/ALA is a lifeline for me. I even had the energy to give him a therapeutic screw when we got back last night at 3:30 am (we were both so exhausted but wound up and had to relax somehow. aint nothing like an orgasm ).

Crazy is the word for it. Crystal city isn't that far, but an event that big SHOULD NOT be put on by bike. However, ACA/ALA saw me through! I really can't believe it. I'm even functional this morning--tired and sore, but functional!
and yes, therapeutic screws. I'm a big fan. sometimes sex isn't just about horniness, but simply relieving stress. Particularly in a marriage--I can't believe I'll be married 5 years this summer! Turning 30 and being 5 years married in the same month is a bit of a shocker.

Oh cool! Congrats!! Funny because when I turn 30 my husband and I will be hitting our 5 year anniversary too, all within 2 days of each other.
I love this damn pill. I still feel amazing. I wish it would work for everyone like it has for us!

It hasn't turned me into superwoman but it has on certain days given me the energy to get off my ass and motivated me into doing things that I wouldn't normally bother doing.
