I've tried to see if anyone has experienced this. My pelvic pain in the last two weeks begins between 2 am and 6 am and will last for approximately 4 to 6 hours everyday . At times it feels as though everything wants to fall out. I have my regular twinges other times throughout the day but at this point compared to my morning pain they feel like i stubbed my toe. My GP prescribed Voltaren yesterday but it only seemed to delay the start of my pain until my car ride in. I'm at work trying to focus but we all know how that goes. Maybe i just needed to vent a bit.

That's alot of time spent being in pain. What treatment plan are you on right now? Have you seen a pelvic pain specialist? I just did and they are great people to see for this. Do you use a hot pack for the pain? I like those thermacare wraps or the microwave cherry pit packs or buckwheat packs. You can google up pelvic pain hot packs and there are some online you can buy.
Vent away, we are here to support each other!

That's a pretty specific schedule for pain... Makes me wonder if it's environmental or food-triggered. Keep in mind that sometimes our bodies have reactions to things that we're around/ingest, but don't necessarily react to right away. Can you give us some more info about your schedule, anything that might be the same just about every day/night that could possibly trigger things? Any foods you've been eating every single day? Any medications/supplements you started taking? Scrutinize everything!
A few months ago, I started having some pretty constant pelvic pain and it didn't make any sense. After a few weeks, I finally figured out the increase in pain totally correlated with my use of a new Vit C pill. You see, I have a food sensitivity to oranges, and this Vit C in particular used citric acid instead of absorbic (sp?) acid. I stopped taking the Vit C and - poof - that pain was GONE!

I was having similar timed pains last year when I would awaken from sleep with a bad stomachache feeling like I had to poo (pretty intense) and very painful, this would last a few hours, sometimes worse than others, but always waking me up from sleep. Taking dairy and wheat out of my diet helped me stop having this happen at least 75% of the time. I have since had a pretty intense excision surgery so that helped too obviously, but I recall that stopping all dairy right away followed by wheat was super helpful and stopped all my internal 'pushing' feeling... hurt like heck and felt just so uncomfortable. This was right before I learned about endo and that I had it. I remember I thought I had become lactose intolerant seemingly overnight and that really freaked me out. Good luck! keep posting k~ Pretty *Edit: I just read your post again, and not sure our symptoms were the same, but anyway thought I'd chime in.... if it's not related just ignore me lol

well, i can't say i eat/drink anything consistently except water. Yesterday I cut out wheat and dairy and this morning no pain at all. I had fruits and veggies for breakfast and lunch and a salad with organic chicken for dinner.
Amazing what a little change in my food habits will do.

I know right! you might be like me one of the ones it's really obvious how much food affects me inside. I'm so glad for you. What is best for me about my diet is that I CONTROL IT. It's not a doctor guessing at a pill that might help. It's me taking charge and gives me the power to heal myself. It just totally blows my mind still how much difference just changing what I eat makes in how I feel with endo. anyway, keep it up. Karen gave me good advice, to start a food journal, and write down pain, when, where etc, so you can really start to tailor the diet to what works for YOU. I've found I actually can have a little of this or that depending on where I am in my cycle. I do totally stay off wheat and dairy etc in the week before and during my period, and then the other two weeks I cheat a little more... have a cocktail once in a while, or a slice of cake. still havent had ice cream in over a year but I don't miss it, that was something that would immediatly shut down my whole digestive tract at the first bite! seriously wouldn't have a BM for 3 days, horrible pain the whole 3 days, even hard to pee so I knew it was inflammatory response swelling everything up in there and irritating everything.
anyway I'm super stoked for you sorry to go on and on! x Pretty

Well, fingers crossed you found the source of your mystery pain! Do you typically eat dairy/wheat on a daily basis? If that's what it is, doesn't it seem like such an easy fix!?!? The food journal is a fab idea, really can help you pinpoint foods that are causing pain!
I really hope the no morning pain thing continues for you!

That is great it helped. It is amazing taking a food out and seeing how your body reacts. Check out our recipe thread and pretty put togother a shopping list that is wonderful for stuff to buy that helps us with our endo. I hope it works for you and a food journal is something all of us should have. You never know what you may have a problem with and the journal is great to use. Good Luck!

I found out I am gluten intolerant and also can't have Casein (protein found in dairy). Now, when I have contaminated food with gluten I wake up usually around 2am and have symptoms like a gallbladder attack for 10-15 minutes and then it's gone. So try a diet change. It's amazing how much better I feel off dairy and gluten.

Well I got a call from my GYN last night. Looks like my lap scheduled for May 3rd has been moved up to April 21st. I had a sonogram last week and the results came back with blood in the uterus or under it. So the plan is to excise as much endo as possible and find out why the blood is pooling. Keep me in your prayers. Oh and the timing of the pain has completely changed. It just shows up out of the blue everyday and knocks me for a loop. My GP saw me on Monday and said what helps and gave me a script for Vicodin to get me through until next week.

Well, friend, we can be surgery buddies next week. My surgery is on Wednesday, but not a lap...I am having an endo mass in a horrible spot burned off! Good luck with yours, and I will definitely think about you!

Anyone heard how wonder is?
I've been at my parents all day and doing prep stuff here for tomorrow's lap. Ive become paranoid that they won't find anything tomorrow.
