Hi all, I just thought I'd share with you a brilliant book I'm a reading about Endo pain. It is called 'Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain' by Dr Susan Evans. She is a Gynecologist who practices here in Adelaide (Australia). Her website is www.drsusanevans.com. You can get her book from her website, or from The Book Depository (UK) or Amazon (the previous edition anyway). I highly recommend it. She goes through all the different types of pain that accompany Endometriosis and the best treatment for each type of pain. The opening page sums it up with a quote from a member of the International Endometriosis Research Center in the USA saying: "Patients reading this book will finally feel validated, and physicians reading it will finally understand that Endometriosis is more than just killer cramps which can be "cured" by hysterectomy or hormone therapy. This remarkable book should be given to every single Gynecologist and their patients - it would drastically improve the current standard of care experienced by those with pelvic pain."

That looks great, but $46.00 for a used edition on Amazon! Ugh. And I don't think we can buy it from her site here in the U.S. I'm assuming that because she is a medical doctor, the treatment options are all allopathic? Just curious to see her approach. Thanks for letting us know!

Wow that's expensive. I eventually want to buy it though. I think it would be great information to share. I wonder if it can be checked out at a public library. Or sometimes I'll just go into Borders or Barnes and Noble and read books and not buy them. hehe I'm so cheap.

The Book Depository has the previous version for only $17 (AUS - which at the moment should be slightly more than US$). They have free delivery worldwide. I always buy my books from there.

If you call your local library maybe they have it for those that can not buy it. Check online to most library systems have a online catalog and you can type in the title and see what copies are available. I do Interlibrary Loans from all over the country if we do the title the patron wants I can usually find a library somewhere that does. I promise librarians are there to help just ask and we are programmed to find it lol
