I was just thinking today, people on facebook are SO annoying! First you have the ones that post every single detail of their lives on it. Then the people who use it to tell about how much they hate their lives and how much it sucks. Then there are the ones that think their problems are like the end of the world. I read these posts sometimes of people bitching and I just think, "wow that's really not that bad. You've got it pretty easy compared to most people I know!" I'm SO sick of people's complaining and whining on facebook about such stupid sh*t!
Do you gals on facebook get annoyed at these stupid posts people make bitching about everything under the sun? UGH if they had to walk a mile in our shoes.....
I try really hard not to use facebook as a place to publically bitch and complain or share every single detail of my life. It's supposed to be fun! People need to get a grip!

My sister and I have called it Fakebook too! If people are not bitching they are posting how great life is and wonderful they are. UGGH I get it you run every day and have a great body lol I dont need to read about it every day. Or the status that is so bizarre your not even sure why someone would share all that info. I had one friend actually post her picture of her drain from a surgery she had. It was coming out of her tummy and was rather disgusting! I wonder if the DSM will come up with a mental condition that is connected with facebook users that use status updates for self esteem or to complain. LOL the FB disorder?

LOL! YES that's perfect! I saw one girl that posted pictures of her C-section and then even had pics of her first time trying to breastfeed. I was like, WTF?? Isn't that freakin private?? Why would you share that with the world?
I'm starting to hate facebook! It's totally a fakebook. UGH

I have only ever used it to communicate with friends who no longer live in the same city as me. And I like it for sharing pictures also, but other then that, I don't really use it. I tend to go on a lot of deleting binges though. If I read anything that someone posts that has me in anyway repulsed or questioning their sanity, I delete them. Its unfortunate the role it has taken in society. It used to be a great way to remain in contact with school friends, now its more of an aggravation.

I'm with Karen. I had a Facebook for awhile, but abandoned it a few years ago. I have no regrets about that.

I refused and refused to sign up, then my hubby signed up, so I did too, and then he got mad and deleted himself.... leaving me friends with his extensive family - who are impossible - so I deleted them all! ha ha. I'm keeping my FB just because I live so far away from most of my friends. However I am usually so annoyed by the bs people post that I ignore it. However, today I learned my friend in denver had her baby, so I'm happy about that.... and those events are the ones I want to hear about anyhow.... yeah FB sucks. my LEAST favorite people are the self-promoters, one guy is constantly promoting his STUPID albums of sucky music, making it sound like we're all a$$holes if we don't contribute money (the guy has no job lol, but he makes it sound like we're morally obligated to give him money!!!! wtf!) and then there are the no-confidence gals, constantly going on and on about their self doubts. BOOOORRRRIIIINNNNG! my faves are the spiky one liners from folks with a sense of humor.... ok that was fun.. I'm going to FB now to tell the whole world about the zit on my nose.... j/k

LOL Pretty that is so funny! Fakebookers get no response from me. I use mine for my qoutes and to make contact with people I do not get to see like all of you. I had to deal with the family thing at one point too Pretty. My sister in law and husband got into a huge fight and she deleted me. It was so odd. I never addressed it to her and she prob thought I would but I didnt I actually think she did it to get under my skin really immature like Oh I will delete Keri to get back at Seth? Then one day she requested me again after the fight and I accepted so I could see pics of my nephew. I do not write on many pages unless it is funny. Its suppose to be fun and that is how I use it I had went a few days one time when I was sick without posting a qoute and I had people inboxing me that they looked forward to my qoute of the day so I started back up. If it was not for the qoutes Im not sure what I would say in my status updates???
Oh and Pretty I have a panhandler on my fb too a few actually. One is always saying how they have no money and she needs this that and the other. Another is a guy who calls him self Tony Love enough said about that one lol!

I use it to keep in contact with my friends back in California since I'm so far away from home. I really do enjoy seeing people's pictures and hearing good news. And some people are really funny and entertaining. But then you get the whining, complaining and non-stop news feeds about every single damn detail of people's lives. And YES the people who sell sh*t are SO annoying!
I like using my status updates to ask people questions or try to be funny. Facebook is supposed to be fun!

I never signed up for it either. My husband says if he wants people to get in touch with him they are friends and they already have our contact info. I agree, I don't want the idoits from the past snooping up on me or finding me easily - I have zero interest in "getting back in touch" with all those morons that I used to go to school with or in past jobs. I didn't keep in touch for a reason! LOL!

The Fakebook~ I have a Keri definition~ Fakebook is the friend that is a cheerleader for themselves, posting how great life is how amazing they are or the status update that is so shallow it makes you so sick that you hit block. Life is not perfect so if you want us to believe your life is so wonderful stop talking about how great you are on Facebook and do something that makes a difference in this world. Then post about it;) I had to put it on my page lol maybe someone will get the hint life does not revolve around them~ fakebook www.urbandictionary.comAdding friends to facebook who you don't particularly like, socialize with or think you are friends with.

I like to go on deleting sprees and getting rid of the dead weight. I just can't stand some of the posts anymore. When someone mentions a bad day it just irks me! Every day is a bad day for me but you know what? I find a freakin reason to smile at the end of the day and be positive. Nobody wants to hear your crap! And if I want to bitch, I'll unload in the daily bitch fest thread on here! LOL!! Facebook isn't a freakin support group. It's for fun and for socializing!
