These days I was trying to learn backing bread and found yeast is used in bread. I don't have any idea is it helpful or should be avoided for endometriosis. I am searching on the net. But if any of you have any idea, please share.

Well there are links with endo to candida, so yes possibly isnt a good idea to have it, but thats going to depend on the individual.
Personally im fairly suspicious i do have candida atm, but am on such a good diet if it is a problem it should eventually resolve.
The only way you can know if something is causing you problems is to cut it out and then test yourself having it to see if you react.
The greater problem is more likely the wheat, since so many women find in the least a reduction in pain when they cut this out.

Yes I know that wheat is not good , but my problem is, I don't have any pain or digestion problem from any food. My only problem from endo is infertility. I try to cut wheat, milk, soy, chocolate, sugar. I never consume coffee and alcohol. Since wheat and rice is main food for us, it is very difficult to eliminate those completely. On what diet you are having?

Sorry just saw your from India, yeah of course, wheat free products not going to be as easily available. Indian diet would be vegetarian??? Is that correct??? That alone would be helpful, it sounds like your diet is already pretty good if you've already cut all that out.
If you have no problems with pain or digestion, id say there is no reason to cut out yeast.
My diet is fairly close to the endo diet, except i still have yoghurt, eggs, and fish. Ive cut out all other meat, dairy, coffee and alcohol, sugar, wheat. Basically i try not to eat anything processed as much as possible as well. Its worked well for me.

Hi there,
It is well recognised that some women with endometriosis also have allergies to candida, also known as thrush (it lives in the body of everyone and is kept in check normally, but in those with immune dysfunction it grows out of control).
Candida thrives on yeast, alcohol, sugars and other foods such as mouldy cheeses and mushrooms.
Unless you have been diagnosed with thrush/candidiasis then it is unwise to start eliminating these foods from your diet because you will lose the other nutritional benefits those foods give you. You really need to have tests to work out whether candida is a problem for you first, and then consult a naturopathic doctor for advice about how to deal with it.
Not everyone with candida has endometriosis and not everyone with endometriosis has candida.
